Meet The Columnist
Hi, I'm Sheila
Moss, Tennessee humorist and free-lance columnist as well as
producer, writer, editor,
webmaster and chief coffee maker here at "HumorColumnist.com." I write a new column and publish it every week!
If you don't like to laugh, you're in the wrong place.
I write about
issues or events that bother me or interest me -- things I hope
you can relate to also. Although I deny doing redneck humor,
some does occasionally slip in when I'm not looking. With
a background in sociology and psychology, my work may contain social
commentary.. Sometime an event just begs to be laughed at
and I can't help myself.
I write mostly about
the ordinary world and the humdrum things of life -- point being,
make the ordinary seem extraordinary by the way the story is
told. If I can do that -- it's enough.
My work is
widely published in various online features and in
print publications. My column is currently featured by The
Daily News of Kingsport and is carried in the Aberdeen Examiner
and Angleton Advocate print
editions as well as in Atlanta Woman magazine. I have
articles published by major publishers, such as McGraw-Hill
and Voyageur Press, and reprints have been published by
numerous websites and newspapers.
I am also editor and
webmaster of Southern
Humorists.com, and a board member of the National Society
of Newspaper Columnists. My website HumorColumnist.com has been online
since 1998.
Thanks
for coming by and visiting my website. If you
are an editor or a webmaster, visit my editor information page
to see how you can have my column in your publication or on your
website.
If you are just visiting, that's great! My
readers are what make all this work worthwhile and the reason I
do it. Consider
joining my mailing list to receive the column in your mailbox so
you don't miss a single one, and drop me an email so I'll know
you came by.
~ Sheila
